Basic web design

To succeed in this web development course- and even achieve top grades!- what I'll put into the lectures is all you'll need, if you know how to study and work at a reasonable pace. As an additional resource to help you- as promised at the very start of your web development course!- this wiki links to your websites, that you are developing on the Internet.

Here is what you need to do

Get in contact with me on Skype!- or at least mail me! If I do not hear from you, how am I to know if you are making progress? Even if there is progress on your website, I still need to know it is you who is learning from me.
Watch what is happening on web development! I'll add to this page, as your skills build.
Work on your website! I have given you a number of clues on what needs to be done. To get the most up to date information, join me on Skype! What you see on this wiki will not be as up to date as my lectures

Plan B?

"Some are concerned about web development and not having the programs and/or bandwidth or connection to our teaching platforms. What can we do to move ahead without the privilege of every technology. Can we look at going with a theory component for a bit?"

Web development is about being ready, willing and able to work with clients who are remote from us! We need to have the time and inclination- and capacity too!- to explore online ways of achieving

The web development programs I want you to use are free!- and I am here on Skype for a hundred+ hours a week- should you wish to contact me. I understand that some of you lack resources, but I am here on Skype and mail, should you wish to talk to me about your issues

Graphic designer

Graphic designers are supposed to be creative in their thinking! If you do not have the technology, you could be be visiting websites and developing ideas, as I discussed with you in class. Further, I have given you sufficient training to work on your own, building web pages with tables and inserting images. You all attended these lectures and will know what I expect of you!

If you are still unable to reach your websites on the Internet, I have given you an option

If you want good marks, be sure to let me see you at work! If I don't see you at work, then do not expect me to assume you have learned anything. If I don't see you at work, all I can do is be bored when it comes to marking what you claim to be yours
